      Rejection of Sky Plus

I have had standard Sky for years until yesterday when I had Sky Plus installed-big mistake! The engineer fitted a new cable and LNB and attempted to re-use my twin F plug wallplate behind the TV. He said it was faulty-I was surprised as it was fine with the old box, so he was unable to test the box and left. I spent some time with the wallplate but bypassed it anyway with 2 connectors and guess what, it turns out the box is faulty. I rang customer services straight away and said I wanted to reject Sky Plus totally and I wanted a full refund as I can't be doing with problems from day 1 as I'm sure this will get worse. Iv'e also got to get a new viewing card as the engineer took mine! Has anyone been in this situation and got a full refund including installation?

I wouldn't go as far as cancelling Sky due to a faulty box. We had a faulty box when Sky+ was first installed for us on day 1 (Hard Drive Faliure). We simply rang up, said it was faulty and then a Sky engineer came 3 days later gave us a new one and it has been fine eversince (still using it now)!
