Sky + problem with magic eye mouse

I have had Sky+ installed. I used to be able to watch my digibox in the bedroom as well using a magic eye. Now I cannot get it to work with Sky+.

I have setup the box and turned the RF out ON
I have checked that I have a red LED on the magic eye in the bedroom.
The sky+ remote operates the TV in the bedroom, but it will not switch the screen over to Sky.
If I hit the Sky button on the old remote, it changes to Sky+ in the bedroom, then I can use the Sky+ remote to operate everything.

I just need to know why the Sky+ remote will not switch over to Sky for me??

      Many thanks in advance.

you need to program it so when you press the SKY the tv changes to the channel the sky's on Programming the Sky RCU this will tell you how to do it if thats what you mean.

      Hi and Welcome
No, sadly that is not the problem as it is already programmed, hence it operates the TV functions bar switching to the SKY channel

Can you help with one more query as well as my original problem? Channel 6 (Sky) in the bedroom now has a tinge of red and green diagonal stripes rolling across the screen - is there a tweak for this?

Programming remote to control the tv is different to programming the remote to change to your channel for sky on the tv when pressing SKY.
      Press tv button
Press Green and Select at same time until 2 red flashes.
Press number you have sky channel set on (6?)
Press select. Should flash red twice.
Now remote will change to channel 6 when pressing sky button
