Sky+ signal problems ?

This afternoon when i turned on my TV i seen that all channels were marked with "Searching for signal", i unplugged my box, waited then plugged it back in and still get the same for all channels and can not access my recorded programs, is this a problem on the other end or is everyone having this problem or is it just me with the problem

no its sunny, im in scotland, it was raining heavy last night but it was working early this morning

I am in Scotland too and as I was typing we were expereincing a downpour so big that I lost my mobile phone signal.

Just wondered if it affected your sky.

Have you tried resetting your LNB?

how do i go about doing that ?
it just seems to have happened in the middle of the afternoon for no reason, i have 2 sky + boxes and both are doing the same

I know its not pixelation but it may be worth a try.

when i follow the instructions is says press Serives, 4, then 0 and 1 but when i press 1 nothing happens, this is getting more frustrating every minute

a new menu will appear - a hidden one.

when i press 01 though nothing happens atall...
