Sky viewing card
Hi
I am getting Sky+ installed on tuesday and will be wanting to use my old Sky box in a different room. Will I have to subsscribe to Sky Multiroom to do this or is there any way I can get a viewing card from elsewhere, or even just use 1 of the boxes to pick up any freeview channels?
Cheers

Re: Sky viewing card
You will need to check with Sky, when I got Sky+ I got a new card as well and my old card turned into a freeview card. If not you can buy a "FreeSat" card from Sky for a one off payment of about £20/£25. Which gives you the same free channels you would get on freeview with an aerial.
But if they are installing the box in the other room for you they may be expecting you to subscribe to Multiroom.
