      SECRET Incentives

I am told that there might be reasons why companies want to keep incentives,
for existing and new customers, secret.

      1. They do not want their competitors to know what they are doing.
      2. It is a small test mailing to see if the incentive works.
      3. They do not want other customers demanding an incentive.

The great thing about independent sites like Skyuser is that members
can make others aware of the incentives.
That is one of the great advantages of being independent.

See postings number 1 and 34 on this thread:
      http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/sky/1...e-sky-box.html

The time limit for the Free Sky+ box mentioned in posting #1 is over.
But if any new customer rings the number, and still gets the offer,
post and let other members know.

The mailing mentioned in #34, a free Sky+ box for existing members,
      is particularly interesting.
Has any other member received it?
How will Virgin react. What are their freebies?
      Competition makes the customer king.

      Re: SECRET Incentives

If you phone Sky customer services on 08705 166 661 and quote "Summer Sky Movies Offer" they will give you the movie package for the next 3 months for 1.00 a month.

Technically not a freebie but depending on the package you are on it might reduce your overall monthly bill.
Offer valid until 30th June 2007

I called to get that offer last week but was told that my name wasn't on their list of customers ( randomly picked by computer ) who have received the mailing so I couldn't have the offer.
