      Sky+ multi-room subscription

      Hi all,

I just ordered Sky+ for 49 which will be installed this Sat.

I am currently on 4 mixes at 18.

I have checked online on my sky account, it has added 10 for multi-room.

I only intend to watch sky in my living room so I dont really need multi-room.

Do I upgrade my viewing package to include movies and sport to prevent paying the multi-room subscription?

      Thanks.

      Hi binarypie

Unless you actually ordered multiroom you won't / shouldn't be getting it

You will probably find that the 10 is actually your Sky+ subscription charge. You are liable for this as you don't subscribe to a "Premium" (Movies / Sport) Channel.

Just to be sure I would ring Sky to get clarification

Thanks psycho, I called them up after sky plus was installed and they have removed the multiroom subscription.

If the agent putting your order through added the multiroom subscription then you shouldn't have been charged the 60 installation cost, right? but he must have only put through the sky+ (without multiroom) install option. Seen this done lots of times though usually by mistake when the person actually wants multiroom! Then they phone to shout at someone.http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/mad.gif
