I think you can get stereo sound through rf. I'm pretty sure scart is superior for both picture and sound tho.

      Re: quick question

      Hello Kostasdikitis,

The TV in our Living room where sky is, is connected via SCART & RF. We can get Stereo via SCART, but not RF.

The TV in our bedroom, which is LCD, and connected to sky via RF, is only MONO.

      Hope this helps.

      Re: quick question

Technically speaking, there is no reason why you can't get stereo sound over RF, but the picture and sound will be of higher quality through the SCART connections.

      From worst to best:

RF < composite video (via a yellow RCA phono or via SCART) < RGB SCART

      Re: quick question

scart is better for pic quality and sound. Pictures is not subject to rf inteference like a rf lead would be. The output from a sky box via rf is MONO. therefore use scart for better sound and pic
