Better Or Worse?

I had SKY+ fitted in Feb and last week it went into permanent standby due to the Anytime updates, I got a replacement box on Thursday (before I read on here that it is reversible) now the box they brought has an onscreen model number of 4.008P whereas my old box had model number 4.019E (sorry if these aren't the proper model numbers, both are PACE boxes), but have I been done and been given a smaller Hard Drive box and has this box reserved space for Anytime?

I've also noticed no USB port.

Any help would be appreciated.

The first 4 digits in the Version Number field will tell you what type of Sky+ box you have and you'll then be able to determine if you can receive Sky Anytime on TV. Boxes with version codes 4F21, 9F22, 4E21 and 4E30 will be able to receive this service over the coming weeks. Unfortunately those with codes 4F20, 9F23, 9F21, 9F20 & 4E20 will not.

Your model number was 9F22, it is now 9F21.

Yes it's only a 40Gb disk, I've got one. Very reliable box but it doesn't support Anytime TV.

By looking around on the net it seems a good box, not really that bothered about anytime more that my planner is now only 1/2 the size.

Called the company I got it from this morning (not SKY) and told them "My box is now only 40gb instead of 80/80" they then told me that it was with PACE and this was only a loaner!! Funny they never mentioned it last week, I wonder if I had phoned up not knowing the details of my old/new box (thanks Dan) if I would have got the same answer.
