      Re: Sky+ Anytime..?

      nothing !!!

Its also ******ed up my planner !!

I got up this morning and all the programs I had saved for my son had all been deleted !!

I also couldn't record anything and had to do a system restore on the SKY+ Box.

So much for not ever needing a video recorder !

All SKY could say was "well these things happen !". Try telling that to my 4 year old when he wants to watch his TMNT movie !

If Sky+ Anytime is anything like the PC Anytime I'll be staying well away from it.

I've got a Sky+ box, but can't see Anytime anywhere on it?

      Re: Sky+ Anytime..?

No, Its simply every few days, Some shows are "auto-saved" to the reserved 80GB drive so you simply pick and watch.

No sharing like PC as its all OTA nothing extra to connect.
At the moment I have 20 shows on ours, Even though some reports say that you can only have 15.

      Re: Sky+ Anytime..?

All depends, Thomson models have had the anytime software pulled until further notice.

for some reason there were hundreds of complaints where planners were deleted, and recording was stopped until a FSR took place.

Sky then did the right thing and stopped the updates.

There was also a rumour that the update stopped the remotes working on Thomson boxes, but I've only seen that story once, so...

      Re: Sky+ Anytime..?

It's a bit unfair that older boxes don't get it. My new box was replaced with an old box last month under warranty, so I'm getting that sorted out tomorrow so I can use this feature
