Parifing 2 boxes?
Me and dad have both sky boxes and I pay for sky plus hd. Sometimes I go to my girlfriend's house for a week etc and let my dad use my card. Is there a chance to let him use the record functions etc from the same card but also keep it on mine when the card is plugged back in.

Re: Parifing 2 boxes?
The system will be designed to prevent this.
Also there are things which I have learnt during the beta testing which make me specifically recommend against this, not because of Sky wanting to make more money, but specifically to do with how the recordings are kept on the STB.
I would suggest one of the following should be considered:
- For you dad to upgrade his package & Sky STB so he can watch more and also download content from the On Demand section
- Let your dad use your STB and card
Whilst option 1 is going to cost a little extra money, IMHO it will be the best option in the long term. Repeatedly unplugging and plugging in the STB is known to damage the connections.
