      Pairing to replacement box

I have just ordered a replacement sky+ box. Would I be able to use the viewing card from the faulty sky+ box and ring sky to get it paired to the new box, and would I need to have a dedicated phone line to the receiver in order to accomplish this.
      Regards Peter Rutter

      Re: Pairing to replacement box

Yes, you can ring Sky and get them to pair the card with the replacement box.
As far as I am aware you only need to have a phone line connected if you are still in the first 12 months of your contract.
