      Free Sat

      Hi all
I bought a sky box and 3 skycards at a local flea market here in Germany and only one one will work with freesat. Is that normal. The cards all look the same. I am looking to buy a second skybox and I will need a second freesat card. Or is it my skybox. Can Anyone help SAL

      Re: Free Sat

You don't need any card for the genuine FTA (free to air) channels like BBC1/ITV. However some channels are FTV (free to view) in that they are free to watch but you need a card to decrypt the signal.

      Re: Free Sat

your best bet is to call freesat department and order a card for 20 OR purchase one from your local satellite specialist.
BT voted the worst customer services in 2008!
Is it not about time that Ofcom done something about the shoddy company that is BT?
