Re: Madam secretary issues
I can't say that I didn't notice the drop in quality. I've just restored the first episode and I'll have another watch tomorrow once the sun has risen.
Does anyone know if the source is 1080 or 720? This is made by CBS. A lot of US shows are actually recorded in 720 and upgraded to 1080 when they arrive on our shores. I'm not sure about CBS or specifically this show.

Re: Madam secretary issues
Ok just watching it again...
Certainly in the opening sequences the credits are very blocky and the hair is more blurred than I'd expect for something that should be HD. That's not even 5 mins in (including ads at the beginning).
I'll raise it with someone from Sky.

Re: Madam secretary issues
A little feedback for you both...
The OD version is a little better than the version which was broadcast.
Obviously the live version has been broadcast now so there isn't much that can be done to resolve it, but if you'd like to download the version from CUTV you should be Ok.
I've asked for this feedback to be passed to the people who can deal with this and ensure it's not repeated. It is unusual though so well spotted Meteosat!
