      Extended trailer for Westworld released

This October, WESTWORLD a dark odyssey from JJ. Abrams (Star Trek, Star Wars), Jonathan Nolan (Interstellar, The Dark Knight) and Lisa Joy (Pushing Daisies, Burn Notice) will air on Sky Atlantic and Now TV. An extended trailer for this ten episode, one-hour drama series was today released, revealing more of what awaits in this futuristic theme park where guests can live without limits.

WESTWORLD, which stars Anthony Hopkins as the parks founder and creative director Dr Robert Ford, is an examination of man’s primal nature, the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin. Set in a futuristic theme park, guests can explore a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged.

Alongside Hopkins the series stars Ed Harris (Pollack, Apollo 13) as The Man in Black, Thandie Newton (Mission: Impossible II) as razor-sharp madam Maeve Millay, Evan Rachel Wood (Thirteen, Mildred Pierce) as Dolores Abernathy a beautiful provincial rancher’s daughter, who begins to discover that her entire idyllic existence is an elaborately constructed lie and sharp shooting new arrival to the frontier town Teddy Flood played by James Marsden (X-Men).

A gallery of images for the series can be found on Sky’s Editorial Asset Centre here.

WESTWORLD was inspired by the motion picture “Westworld,” written and directed by Michael Crichton. Production companies, Kilter Films, Bad Robot Productions, and Jerry Weintraub Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Executive producer/writer/director, Jonathan Nolan; executive producer/writer, Lisa Joy; executive producers, J.J. Abrams, Jerry Weintraub, Bryan Burk.
