Sky and CBS Studios International will bring The Late Late Show with James Cordento the U.K. and Ireland for the first time, as part of a new agreement for the exclusive rights to the hit U.S. series.

From the 19th July, all Sky TV and NOW TV entertainment pass customers can enjoy full episodes of the destination weeknight chat show with host James Corden on demand, one day after its broadcast in the U.S.

In addition, Sky 1 will exclusively broadcast “The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special” on the 19th July featuring Corden’s favourite moments from his first year in late night, and highlights from his Carpool Karaoke segments with Adele, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey.

Customers with Sky Q, Sky’s next generation home entertainment system, will also be able to enjoy all the best clips from the show, past and present, including Carpool-Karaoke, in the Online Video section alongside amazing content from the likes of Funny or Die, Red Bull and GoPro, Jamie Oliver’s Food Tube and Vice.

“The Late Late Show” throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests from the world of film, TV, music and sports, as well as musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show.

Since the show’s U.S. launch in March 2015, “The Late Late Show with James Corden” has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos. The show’s official YouTube channel has surpassed 1 billion total views, has 138 clips with more than one million views each and 6 million subscribers.

Among the YouTube clips, the show’s “Carpool Karaoke” segments are consistently viral hits. Each of the 21 “Carpool Karaoke” clips to date has surpassed 10 million views. Notably, the show has the Top 2 Late Night Clips on YouTube: #1 “Adele Carpool Karaoke” (113 million views) and #2 “Justin Bieber Carpool Karaoke” (82 million views). Other top performing clips on YouTube include “Pitch Perfect Riff-Off with Anna Kendrick & The Filharmonics” (28 million views), “Dodgeball with One Direction” (21 million views) and “James Corden and Tom Hanks Act Out Tom’s Filmography” (17 million views).

Gary Davey, Managing Director, Sky Content, commented: “The Late Late Show has be-come a global cultural phenomenon and the UK & Ireland audience has delighted in James’ runaway stateside success. There is a huge appetite from UK and Irish fans to enjoy the antics of The Late Late Show first hand and we are thrilled to exclusively bring the show direct to our customers.”

We’re excited that U.K. audiences will get to experience all the energy and excitement of the series with our terrific partners at Sky.”

James Corden is already a familiar face to Sky customers as the host of Sky 1’s multi-award winning entertainment show A League of Their Own, which he has chaired since 2010.

THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN is produced by CBS Productions, with Fulwell 73. Ben Winston and Rob Crabbe serve as executive producers. The series is distributed worldwide by CBS Studios International.

I've never watched this. I'll keep an eye out for it. The only US chat shows I watch are The Daily Show and occasionally The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (which is also on CBS in the US coincidentally).
