It looks like new customers who want F1 in HD will have to take Sports and the full HD pack. I suppose the SD version will be available without the HD full HD pack. If and when this is applied to old customers, its goodbye HD, with very few exceptions, I don't think HD adds much to any program for me.

Re: Sky to withdraw F1 channel from old HD pack

I still haven't forgiven Sky for withdrawing the "old" HD pack just before I was about to add it to my Entertainment & Sports package. My upgrade path is now 5 a month more than it would have been because it now requires me to upgrade from Entertainment to EE+ *AND* a supplement for Sports in HD.

The pricing is all too complicated!

Re: Sky to withdraw F1 channel from old HD pack

Message from Sky to me today...

Hello! Apologies for the late reply. If you are a new Sky TV customer you will need Sky Sports HD however customers who have had HD since before April this year, will still get Sky Sports F1 as a bonus channel.

So it looks like I'll still get it ...at least until the end of the season.
