      Goodbye Entertainment Extra+, hello "bundles"?

Just seen an advert on TV that suggests that Sky may be moving away from "packs" to "bundles".

It suggests that the Entertainment pack may be called "The Original Bundle", Entertainment Extra+ "The Family Bundle" then you have "The Movie Bundle", "The Sports Bundle" and Sky World as "The Complete Bundle".

See here for details: Sky Bundles

It may just be a different way of marketing them though as Entertainment Extra+ etc. are all still showing on the Sky website.

Packs, bundles, what's the difference? There was already an element of bundling with the pack system eg. Sky Sport was cheaper for customers also taking Sky movies than for those that didn't.

Isn't that just an example of a "get everything it's the best value" kind of deal?

Ok that's just semantics but in this context is there really any difference between packs and bundles other than as an illustration of the richness and diversity of the English language.

The idea was that there would be 5 easy "bundles" for customers to choose from.

In actuality there are about 12 across different marketing material.
      LOL
      Supposedly simpler, actually Not.
