Does this mean if I dial 1471, I will get charged Sky's 6p connection charge?
Or can I be sneaky and dial 1280 1471 to dial 1471 as a BT customer (and get it free)?
If people don't know, I think an experiment is in hand.
1471 is free and, as you incoming calls still arrive on BT, dialling it connects you to BT anyway.

Similarly, dialling 1571 is free although, if you don't make at least 2 chargeable calls per month with the 1280 prefix, BT will charge you 1/month for that.

There are a few other ideas below (click the link).

Does the same apply to prefixing numbers with 141?

I cannot find any information about using 141 on the sky tariff guide, apart from reference to customers with Sky Line Rental (which I do not have).

141 is the prefix you dial on a BT line to withhold your CLI for an individual call. It's not a chargeable service.
