Oops. Previous post now corrected (sorry folks).

In which case, for the extra 99p/month, Euphony's package is only better because of the 18 extra countries.

Or if you don't have Sky, of course (but you'd probably not be reading this if you don't).

lol i phoned SKY up today to ask about whether its a direct dial or a prefix.

Got through straight away, and the lady transferred me from CS to some1 in the SKY TALK dept as they would be able to answer this q.

anyway the guy sed that yes it was direct dial. Then i confirmed if it is indeed free to mobiles in USA and CANADA. he sed NO, 25% discount or something. I was like good I made sure, but why does it say free on ur site? he sed give me URL.

      Sky.com - Products and Services>More Sky Products>Sky Talk - eSales

he went to it, and then put me on hold after reading that mobiles were included.
I assume he went to ask a manager or something. Anyway he comes back and tells me his briefing was not very clear, but they were included.

Better CS then NTL IMO, but i think ppl in the SKY TALK dept should know their products a bit more

A better CPS option for more now?

Now that 1899 and 18185 have put their connection charges up to 5p, Sky Talk Unlimited for 5/month is an even more attractive possibility (even ignoring the free international calls aspect, a user would only have to make 100 UK 01/02 calls per month to spend 5 using 1899/18185).

Even those getting free evening and weekend UK 01/02 calls for no monthly fee with another CPS provider like Primus Saver Option 2 would do well to consider Sky Talk Unlimited if they make calls to one or more of the 10 countries.

I know I'm watching the costs over the next month or so!

Re: Free International Calls to 10 countries

Is it true that Landline and Cellphones numbers don't differ like ours over here hence free calls to both.

Never been over the pond maybe someone can confirm ??

The reason the cost is the same for us to call is that cellphone users in the USA and Canada pay to receive calls.

Re: Free International Calls to 10 countries

when u cal a cell phone in the us you dial a area code like 213 for los angeles - so in effect the telephone system wont know wether it is a landline or cell phone that you are calling
