      Hello dog-man
If I remember right you can obtain a 'sky freeview' card for a small fee which would
open the skybox for you , which may allow you to receive BT sport on that platform
but I believe you would still have to 'cough up' another 5.00 for the privilege per month to BT..............

If you still have your Sky viewing card and it is less than twelve months since you cancelled Sky you should be able to activate BT Sport on your Sky box without paying 25 for a new viewing card. There is no requirement for you to contact Sky, it is all done though BT or their website. You just require your viewing card number.

Just rang Sky to downgrade the Talk package to PAYT - Can't see the point of paying when we have Mobiles with inclusive mins - and they also offered me half price Fibre for 12 months which is great as i'm more than happy on Sky Fibre and my min contract was up next February anyway !

      Wouldn't that be 18 family + 17.40 line rental = 35.40 (+ 8 anytime extra)?

      edit
Just read your other post explaining how the offer would have kept line rental at 16.40.
So total bill would have been 34.40.
      Typo?
The offer gives line rental at 6.40 with sky+. If you reactivate TV you still have sky+ so as long as you don't change TV from the package you reinstated on then this discount will stay.

"Computer says no". So am moving to sky line rental. They must be raking it in if more customers in my situation! Sly old Sky...

(I am not moving provider as overall costs will still same and broadband is nice n reliable, famous last words....)
That was a lie, I did it the other day.

You should call telephone and broadband cancellations you should get centre of excellence if you're on fibre pro and you should get a discount offered.

That why I said what I said.

Regular retention won't have offers on standalone fibre pro accounts but COE do (usually).

Re: Skytalk Increases 1st December 2015

If they call my bluff though, they could put the cancellation process into operation and I could end up without a landline and more importantly, an internet service whilst I frantically sort out a replacement service.
