      BT -> Sky Talk

      Hi all

      I've moved over from BT to Sky Talk which went live today. BT if showing me "paid up" from December till March- I'm currently making regular payments of 20 per month to BT with the next payment being in just over a week.

      What happens now?

      Will BT refund me anything, will I receive a letter?

      In true BT fashion I'm sure they'll just continue billing me, cause they're awful. Should I cancel the regular payments?

      Thanks

      Have you been contacted by BT since you placed your Sky Talk order?
      If not then it may be worth calling them to ensure that they are aware that your service with them has ceased. You could ask about your final bill during the call.

      Is the regular payment by standing order or direct debit?
      If standing order then go ahead and cancel it.
      If direct debit then I would wait until seven days before the next payment is due to be taken and if you haven't heard anything give BT a call to check when you will receive your final bill and what if any payment will be taken.

      How BT contact you will depends on whether you are currently on paper or paperless/online billing.
