      No outgoing calls.

      4 Panasonic dect phones have worked flawlessly for over a year. Broadband fine - incoming calls fine.

      Now for the last week I can't make outgoing calls.

      I get the dialling tone ok - dial a number from any of the phones and it dials the number - but it simply reverts straight back to the dialling tone!!

      The base unit is upstairs. I tried it downstairs at the master socket - same.

      I've unplugged everything and tried it straight into the test socket - same.

      What next?

      If you are sure your phones are ok and your phone package is with Sky then give them a ring 08442414141 'on your mobile I guess' they should be able to do a line test.

      I would try a corded phone too. That would rule out a phone issue.

      Remember that after your cabinet the phone calls take a different router to your Fibre broadband.

      I guess that will be 'office hours' ?

      I just double checked our bill was up to date and the DD was OK - only 2 of additional calls over our package, so no worries from that angle.

      Think they answer 24hrs but the UK call centre closes at 11pm.
      So prob best to ring tomorrow.

      Sky's call centres are open 24/7, but you will find certain key staff are not available at say 3am.

      Trying to rustle up a corded phone at work and will give that a go when I get home - best to rule out everything before taking the final step.

      Does the corded phone have any switches on it to change the dialing and recall between MFT MFE & LDE? If so and its in an MF position just try it in the LDE position.

      That is good though, as you can confirm that the issue is not with the DECT phones.

      Also, from a safety point of view, the manuals for DECT phones advise that you keep a corded phone just in case you have a power cut at home.
