The problem you will have is that they will charge you an Early Termination Charge for leaving early.
Whether you're happy to pay this or not, they cannot stop you.
I think they mean you can cancel without penalty. Trouble is, I have just remembered I paid a year up front.

So you would get no penalty. It's just that the advance payment is non-refundable.

Just been onto Money Saving Expert and the 18185 service. Does anyone know if you can prefix 18185 before the mobile number on call divert ?

You cannot use any cheap call prefix numbers with Sky Talk. That has been one of the main criticisms right from the start

Yes, just reading this on Money Saving Expert. So, that scuppers that idea. I did read however that OFCOM forbids BT from banning call prefix numbers, but any other provider including Sky are allowed. That seems very strange, I wonder why ?

My further enquiry to Sky:Further to your reply dated 21/9, a Sky forum member has provided the following:

"Call Diversion: The diverted part of the call is charged to the Sky Talk customer at the standard Sky Talk rate depending on the type of phone the call is diverted to, e.g. mobile. The person calling is charged for a standard UK landline call and will be charged as normal by their calls provider."

This seems to contradict the answer you have given me. Can you please clarify this for me.

I also asked how to upgrade from weekends to Freetime because your web site make no provision for this. You replied asking for my telephone number but no one has come back. If in fact, there is an extra charge for call diversion, I would consider upgrading to anytime ?

      Thank you

      And their reply:

Thank you for your email. I understand that you wish to get clarification about call diversion and also about Sky Talk freetime package.

      Call diversion features are :
      * Call divert will only work if it is setup and the telephone is set to tone dialling. There is a charge of 2.50 for the service. Standard Sky Talk rate is applicable for the diverted part of the call, depending on the type of phone the call is diverted to.
      * Calls cannot be diverted to international phone numbers.
Sky Talk Anytime package features are :
Unlimited calls to UK geographic landlines
Includes calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers.
      Pricing:
      * 5 / month and Sky line rental is 14.50/ month

We also offer you Sky Talk Anytime international and for more details you can clink on the below link:

I hope this information has helped with your enquiry. If you require any further assistance, you can respond to my email.
      Kind regards
