How for call package for free calls to 01/02/03, USA and Australia

      Hi,

Can someone tell me how much extra it would cost on the line rent (14.50) to have the following call package

      Free calls to 01/02/03 number
Free calls to USA and Australia

Also does Sky offer any package that include free mobile calls.
      Regards,
      CBG (Garry)

All the details for the Sky Calls packages are here: Sky Talk – Freetime and Tariff Features | Sky Products

For the free international calls, you would need the Sky Talk Anytime International pack for an extra 10 a month (which includes international calls + 01/02/03, 0870 + 0845 numbers). For just 01/02/03 numbers either the Weekend pack (which is free but excludes 0870 + 0845 numbers) or the Anytime UK pack (5 extra month includes 0870 + 0845 numbers).

Sky have no packages which include mobile numbers, though they are discounted slightly with any of the Anytime packs.

Funnily enough, the International pack includes call to mobiles in Canada, Hong Kong and USA, but not locally.

No idea why Sky have never included mobile numbers. TBH, I'm also surprised Sky have still not launched a MVNO mobile phone service in the UK yet. It's the only thing they don't have up to now.

Weekend call package give inclusive calls to 0870 along with 01, 02, 03 numbers at weekends currently.

Anytime UK gives 0845 too and is 7 days anytime calls up to 59 minutes inclusive.

The old anytime package if you are still on it gives calls to 22 countries inclusive (including mobiles in USA and Canada).

Until 2 years ago the anytime call package did give discounted rates to UK mobiles (nb: THIS IS NO LONGER THE CASE) but IFIRC it was removed when 0870 got added.

We were always told it was because the market was already too big and Sky would just alienate customers on all the other networks.

Also don't forget the big money deals with Orange and Vodafone for Sky sports mobile which wouldn't happen if Sky had their own mobile network.
