Well that was worth the phone call. First of all don't say you are looking for an 'offer' say you are looking to generally to reduce your bill. I started by talking about 12 month line rental but because I like Sport they concentrated on that aspect. So I didn't have to pay 12 months up front they structured an offer around free line rental for 6 months (so better than the 12 month up front discount of 50) and then they offered me half price Sport for 6 months. I have taken a new 12 month contract for this but they are happy for me to take up the 50 off the line rental after 6 months (or start again and say I'm looking to generally reduce my payments to Sky). My monthly bill reduces from 81 by 25 but because of the way Sky calculate bills and take payment in advance I will only pay 25.50 on my next bill followed by 55 until Feb when I'll be back to normal pricing. So I should save about 150 over the next 12 months. All for a phone call. It helps to be polite and positive (ie an attitude of I don't want to leave but it is very expensive).

Well done, a better deal than I got when I did the same

I got 6 mths half price sports, 6 months half price bb and the upfront discount on line rental.

Always worth making a call, just because the offers aren't on the web doesn't mean they won't cut you a deal.
