      Number not recognized

It looks like my line may have a fault. Its a weird one.

I have had three or four people who have phoned me on a mobile (different providers) tell me that it can sometimes take two or three attempts to actually ring my landline number.
They get a message saying that my number has not been recognized.
This can be both when dialling manually or from a saved contact.

I am not going to raise the issue with sky until I find some sort of pattern to it as it is not really affecting me directly yet!

Anyone heard of this happening before? So far, it is only happening from a mobile as far as I know.

      Re: Number not recognized

I would be inclined to give them a call now. They should be able to perform some line tests to ensure that there isn't a line fault or a fault within the kit at the exchange.
