      Message Centre 1 - 1470PP1709 (sending?)
      Message Centre 2 - #3520800587529 (receiving?)

These were pre-programmed into the phone. I have no idea whether they are correct for Sky, but they do work, after a fashion.

I've tried that setting. To no avail.

Edit: I've called Sky today (150) and they told me Sky doesn't have such feature (as it is not listed). I told them to search the forum for this thread, but he keep on saying it's not a feature which can be added on and adviced me to call the manufactuer.

I remember in the past I called Sky and they "flipped a switch" which enabled the text to work (in my old house).

Refer them to this page on their own site - Sky Talk - Call features To make it extra easy for them tell them it is the second last Feature under - Handy optional extras.

It is truly regetable that Sky Help do not even know what they offer.

I was going to suggest that you post something on the Sky helpforums, but I found your thread.

I've posted something in it. Hopefully this will clarify what you are looking for.

None of the BT Network settings work (so far). Also, I think Sky need to "flip a switch" for it to work because previously the guys at 150 did something after which text worked.

Is there any chance of borrowing a phone from someone else to try it, just in case it is your handset which is not compatible?
