I would speak to cancellations and see if they can do you a deal.

I got 3 a month line rental plus 5 for the full package for 12 months. I was paying about 23 a month to BT for the same thing. You just have to remember re the 0845 calls etc although I just use saynoto0870.com to get the normal number etc

This of course then saved me 5 a month off my Sky Broadband, so in reality 3 a month cost.

Do remember to use a handset which has a call timer on the display. Watch the call timer and politely let whomever you are talking to know that when you get to 60 minutes (or just less) that you will hang up and call them back.

This was you can talk for several hours, by making several different calls to the same number, and not pay a penny.

Ged's mentioned the 0845 numbers. Also remember that calling a mobile will cost too. Personally I avoid calling mobiles from my land-line and use my mobile phone instead.

There is also a new feature which will prompt you should you calls go over an agreed figure. The lowest setting is 20.

All Sky Talk prices include VAT (i.e. no VAT is added to the bill). So the Sky Talk Anytime monthly fee of 5 effectively includes VAT.

See the Sky Talk Tariff Guide here for all pricing info:
