      Sky Talk Line Installed YAY!!!!

      Right so my Sky Talk Line was finally installed over a month later than the order date. From what ive heard that is good from what others have experienced but still it got cancelled 3 times :\
      Now that has been ordered im trying to get in contact with Sky by calling their 150 number but it says there shut.
      I thought this was a free phone customer services number?

      Also my tracking on the Sky website says my broadband is still progressing, any ideas when this might continue and get my router sent out to my self?

      The 08442 numbers used to contact Sky will be free during the off-peak times and all day everyday if you have taken the Sky Talk Unlimited option.

      As for Sky BB, this is often connected within 10-14 days after your Sky Talk is activated. I would suggest that you check your on-line account tomorrow for your outstanding orders.

      So the3 08442 number will be free no matter then as we have ordered Talk Unlimited

      Only the 08442 numbers used for contacting Sky.

      There are other companies that have 08442 in their dialling codes. These will be charged.

      Ahh right ok.
      Well just checked the tracking and it says
      "Great news! Your Sky Talk service is now up and running and you can start to make calls on your Sky Talk plan. If you do not believe this to be the case please call 08442 410 499"
      So thats sorted.
      But the BB still says "This has now been accepted and we will be able to progress with your order. Please check the status of your order again soon when we should have an estimated activation date for you."
      So might wait till tommorow to check about this.

      Right so checked the order for BB now and it now says the order has been cancelled.... once again :\ Does it really take 14 days for it to be provisioned on my line?

      I would be tempted to call Sky and ask to speak to someone senior.

      Too many people have had their BB orders cancelled like that.

      Make sure that it is re-ordered and make a note of the person whom you speak to.

      If it gets cancelled again, don't bother going to normal Customer Services. Go to the top. Some members have been given the run-around too often in the past.

      Gosh, Reading this is making me worried, Today my phone line should be installed (12/05/2011) I hope my Broadband Order does not get cancelled

      Right so for the past week ive been tearing my hair out :\
      Got connected but line was very quiet and there was odd days where I couldn't make outbound calls, but could on my Virgin line. Could receive calls on the Sky Line.
      I rung them up about this and as to why the broadband order was still cancelled.
      They had a provisioning fault they said and it should be rectified within 24 hours.
      24 hours passed and nothing.
      48 hours passed and it was working fine.
      72 hours passed and we was back to the original fault.
      Touch wood since then it has been ok.
      CS said that my broadband order should be accepted within 5 working days.
      Its been 6 and still says its been cancelled.
      Im refusing to call Sky with this issue as its costing a fortune.
      I should be able to call from my line but im not getting stuck in queues on the weekend.

      Would someone kindly reply with the email address of to whom I can escalate this to.
      My broadband with Virgin is going in 5 days so really need the internet or for some hope that I will get broadband :\
