      Re: Sky Talk Freetime

mine was a new build so thats what the problem is, plus the fact that communication with sky and openreach is pants! i live 2 roads from the exchange! and all the engineers drive past my flat to get to work, but on my install date the engineer phoned me and said 'where are you'!!!
i later found out he had been called in from another area lol.

      Re: Sky Talk Freetime

i agree especially for me after waiting so long! then my phoneline come on 2 weeks before install date with a random number! i thought that was gunna put it all behind again, sky and bt didnt know why it came on, but the engineer sorted it!
i think it because we are so used to people not doing there jobs properly we expect it to happen more! it puts doubt in our minds! you will be fine and get a good speed being to near to the exchange!

Well thanks for your kind regards, a peace of mind helps me a little,
Obviously i will post my router stats when I get the net. At the start of DLM and the end of it, Scubbie an excellent member of Sky Users will know if i am getting the correct speed

yeah she very helpful, most people are here, dlm left me short at 15mb, i phoned sky and they changed me to 20mb (19476) and set my max delays for online gaming! if your wiring is all good im sure you will get 16-20mb aswell
