      Premature disconnection from sky talk+broadband

Had sky talk and broadband for 3 years and never had any problems, even the switch from BT happened seemlessly.

However I need to change back to BT as I want to take advantage of their free wi-fi. My date was set for 20th January but the phone line went silent on 17th and no phone or broadband.

Rang them and they got me to faff around with the plug socket and then said it was a fault with the line and they would report to BT.

I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this as I know two other people who have moved from sky to BT and had the exactly the same scenario of the line having a fault prior to the switch?

Sky rely on BT to do the work so chances are that BT have started earlier than expected.
