Paid for sky talk anytime but still charged for a landline call

This is so annoying. I joined Sky, paying for landline, broadband, full sky packages, paying 80 quid a month or more. My deal included talk anytime for 5 pounds a month.

I call my sister a few days ago, her landline, an 0208 London number and get charged 3.80 by sky. I called for two hours.

I was not told the deal was to hang up after 59 min and call again. Who does that?

This is simply a rip off!

If sky do not put that 3 pounds 80 pence back into my account when I complain I will cancell all my subscriptions on principle.

I pay a fortune each month, have gone 100% Sky and this is how I am treat. It is so annoying, purely on principle. I expect this from fly-by-night operators but not from Sky.

I am very disapointed with this rip-off. Sky will lose 1000s of pounds from me because of this if they are not reasonable over this bill.

Very annoyed this xmas on principle.

That is what is in the conditions, if you don't follow them, you can hardly blame Sky.

UK calls are to 01, 02, 03 & 0870 numbers only (excludes calls to Channel Islands, indirect and dial-up Internet access numbers and 070 numbers). Max price for other 08 numbers is 10.21ppm, with a max connection fee of 11p. Max price for 070 is 49ppm, with a max connection fee of 52p. Full tariff details at Sky.com/callpricing. ‘Free’ calls last up to an hour, then UK calls charged at 6.03ppm at any time of day, or hang up and redial as often as you like. Subject to Acceptable Use Policy. See Sky.com/callpricing.

Its the same with all free call packages. Good luck with your £3.80.

Yeah, like BT, Virgin and virtually anyone else offering bundled call packages! 60 minute caps on 'free' calls have been around for years and are clearly highlighted in the various T&Cs.

Go back to BT and use 18185 - a call of any length to your sister would cost 5p.

It would not have cost him anything if he had just taken the time to read the conditions.
