Only NOC can reset cards. If it doesn't resolve the issue, then they'll suggest the best next action, like logging the fault to Openreach for example.

I see this happen all the time where advisors hand these types of fault to Openreach, only for no fault to be found, customer's time wasted and Sky then picking up the bill. It needs passed to NOC.

As far as I am aware NOC were the people I spoke to from Dunfirmiline Scotland, regardless, they should have checked that my line was ok on the day of changeover, by picking up the bleedin phone to me and speaking to me, If i try and phone my landline from my mobile it says,,,,,connection error,,,,,so why the hell does Sky's equipment say my line is ok, when quite clearly, by picking up a phone and dialing my number it is not ok?????

Doubtful that was NOC - you've probably talked to tier 1 and the Customer Solutions Team.

Give Sky a call and see exactly what's going on.

I got them to ring my mobile, ive already spent hours ringing them, I just hope the problem is resolved in acceptable time scales, 72 hours is a bit slow in my book

Again, I doubt it's NOC you're talking to - they just relay information via your case to CST. It will be CST you're talking to. What did they say anyway?

Re: New to Sky Talk - Phone line dead

You were correct, it was not Noc I was talking to, anyway, still no phoneline, almost a week now in 5 hours time. Apparently it was esculated to NOC last weekend, but no further updates as yet; I understand from one of the CST people that Noc are very hard to get hold of and they are very busy fixing a big problem near, or in, London, something to do with switches blowing??? STILL NOT A HAPPY BUNNY!!!!
