    Whats the delay

      Whats the delay

      Whats the delay want to go to sky talk unlimited ordered on the 10th of june and just been told will not be transfeled until the 6 July nearly a month is this normal or is there a problem?

      Your order is in progress, If you are still seeing this message eight or more days after ordering Sky Talk, please call 08442 410 499.

      Spoke to Sky CS three times and had three different start dates 25th of June,26th of June and 6th of July.

      Sky are dependent on BT Openreach to do the work at the exchange to disconnect your line from your current provider's equipment and connect your line to the Sky Voice & Broadband network equipment...

      I know that thanks but it all done by computer and I been given three difference dates in the past week not very helpful really.

      Well the bookings may be done by the computer but a real person has to do the physical wiring changes inside the exchange! I suppose they're very busy what with cutbacks and a proposed strike...

      Just got update today looks like be third date given when my phone be switched over.

      Your order is progressing fine, if it hasn't already been activated, your line will be activated on:
      06/07/2010

      Had confirmation today that it will be the 06/07/2010 from BT and sky in writing nearly a month waiting time better then Virgin waiting namely given 6 weeks.
