      not a happy chappie!!

i am currently a sky+ SKY Broadband unlimited customer who has recently added sky talk to my package thinking it would be a good idea (how wrong was i) after about 3 weeks of everything being good i have now got a phone line that takes no incoming or outgoing calls. After about 2 hours trying to get through to sky they came up with the solution if an engineer comes out and its not there fault i would be charged 160 pounds. It gets better before the initial call i was told i could add an H D package for an extra 5 pounds which i thought sounded good just as the contract had been done over the phone i was cut off. I asked the guy 14 times would i get the H D for half price he assured me i would when i got through again i was told it would be 10 pounds only for them to contradict themselves again quoting me a different price. customer services abysmal

you might have been switched to SVBN, my lines being moved to SVBN too (today), it will cause the phone to cut off while they switch to there new equipment, this is if you pay sky for your phone line rental.

Hi have a look at BT Major Service Outages then click on BT Major Service Outages that seems to be part of your problem that is of cause if your exchange is Basingstoke.
You can use the Exchange Status Checker then add the Phone Number, Postcode or Exchange Name
