      sky caller id problem

      Hi, hope this helps. i was originally with bt including line rental, my caller id worked fine, using panasonic phones. Joined sky, lost caller id. The problem was with poor quality micro filters which was sent out from sky. Try using existing micro filter into main landline socket, where main base phone connects. Hope this helps anybody having the same problem like i have had .

      When I transferred to Sky Talk, my Caller ID took around 3 days to be activated through Sky (I previously had it with BT). However, I have seen some posts on here where Caller ID has been active at the same time as Sky Talk. Have you checked with Sky that Caller ID is definitely active on your line?

      Hi thank for reply, but i have rectifeid my problem by using existing micro filter from old ISP. i was just trying to help others, as have read many people cant get caller id operating. But yes you are so right about making sure the caller id is active etc
