      Exactly what is the message?

When you mean switched, do you mean moved from original Sky Talk to Sky's new unbundled Talk network or from BT to Sky Talk in general.

I've taken the sky talk package but kept my land line rental with BT.

I had thought that the voice mail service would switch to sky.

I've never received a letter from sky to confirm, just BT but the sky online portal says i am with them.

Is there any way i can easily tell?

Re: Still get Bt answer on 1571?

Traditionally Sky's Talk package runs on the BT network and as such services such as voicemail and 1470 will be identical.

However, Sky are currently in the process of switching their Talk service onto their own unbundled network and equipment, previous customers would have had the option to opt-out. As you don't take Sky line rental I don't think this affects you anyway so you'll still be using a BT shared service.

      Thanks.

So would that mean I would still getBT answer 1571 then?

Is there any way of knowing whether my call package is with Sky now?

Yes and no, other than Sky billing you for the calls.

1571 is a line feature. So as BT have your line, it will not be changed over. Sign into mysky at Sky.com to check if your calls are active with them yet.
