    Online calls very wrong

      Online calls very wrong

      Hello,

      I dont know if anyone has checked their online bill for thier calls.

      but i got my new bill today, and the call lists is very wrong on mine.

      on the 5 may i made 75 hours of calls on that day alone!

      the next day i made another 20 odd hours of phone calls.

      when i called to question what was going on, the man i was speaking too could not understand why i was calling for.

      he could not understand that i could not make 75 hours of phones calls in the same day!!!!!

      oh well, that is how my day is going so far today.

      Didn't he ask you if you had 4 telephones in your house

      I take it you are with SkyTalk and these were chargeable calls? Call 02077053000 and ask the receptionist for Customer Relations. You are more likely to get someone who understands the problem.

      i called back again, and spoke to someone that could understand that we dont have 75 hours in a single day

      she is going to get someone to look at the whole bill, as it is full or errors.

      Takes that long to get some customers to admit to how many sockets they have in use and just how long that "little" telephone extension lead is that they have gone out and bought to plug the router into.

      Just been checking my latest bill dated yesterday (24/5/2009).

      Quite a few calls on there with some incredible durations!

      The durations range from 02:39:26 up to 71:24:45 - the problem seems to have started around 18/4/2009 for me.

      My guess is that they have either received billing info from BT with duration magnitude scaled up too high (say about 10 times) or they have introduced such n error themselves when importing the data into the Sky billing system.

      For instance, a call made at 11:00:44 on 16/5/2009 is listed as duration 52:42:57 - yet the next call was made at 17:43:36 on the same date, totaly impossible if the duration data is to be believed!

      As I'm currently on Sky Talk Unlimited for 6 months free of charge, calls are costed at 0.000 but I wonder if that would be the case if I were on Sky Talk Freetime???

      Which Sky Talk tariff are you on?

      If you are on Freetime, have you been charged a huge amount for these allegedly very long phone calls?

      Mine are the same too, one call was for 80 hours!! Im on freetime and it didint look like Id been charged for it. Incidently Ive been trying to upgrade my order to unlimited and have had all sorts of problems, no one at sky talk could seem to fix it, they did say they were having technical issues with my account saying it was active but not live and was stuck! however ive been live since begining of march and charged for calls outside my freetime. Trying to explain to the numerous people over the past month has been really hard, all I wanted to do was upgrade and give them my cash!

      Hmm, whatever package you are on, calls over 1 hr are chargeable..... I know, I have females in the house!!
      Just scanned a bill, one (local) call of 1hr 29m 09s charged @ 1.35 - Why, oh why, can she not put the phone down when the timer (on display throughout the call) get to 55min and redial????

      Looks like you need an "upgrade" to the package I'm on - apparently a call lasting 71:24:45 cost me 0.000

      (No, of course not! It was probably more like 7:12:24 in reality, hence the zero cost!)
