      Sky Line Rental

      Hi all
Can anybody tell me how long it takes for the line rental to switch over from BT to SKY?

i have just done it today and should save a bit of money being we pay the bill when it comes in from BT got no dd set up with them so have to pay some thing like 3.50-4 extra to them for not having DD

also BT is putting there line rental up so even more savings going over to SKY.

It took about 2 weeks from ordering to switchover in my case.

      Hi Steve
i already have dd with Sky and i already get the eve weekend with Sky so all i have to pay sky is an extra 10

when i see that BT was putting its prices up i thought i might has well pay Sky the line rental and save myself a few quid

Not only that you also get the call display for nothing and some other bits.....you have to pay BT for them

To be honest i am quite happy with my SKY services my broadband speed has just gone up about a meg can't be bad.
