      Getting sky talk and line rental with an inactive phone line

      Hey,

      I wanted to know if I need to have my BT line already connected to get my phone line going through sky?

      I have a line in but cancelled my talk talk account and wanted to move over to sky.
      I tried to signup today but it said my phone line must be cable or not active.

      Can anyone tell me what I can do please.

      Thanks for the link.

      I checked it out but still not sure what to do if I have a line installed but no active provider after BT was cancelled.

      Is it still possible to get sky setup?

      You will need to get reconnected with BT for 12 months before you can switch the line rental to sky. The reconnection is about 125 but sky will refund this if you state this when you order. Once BT is setup you need to contact sky and you plan will be moved over to sky talk within a few weeks.
