Sky don't fit phone lines, what they do is get BT to fit it and then pay them. In this case I don't think that they will do this FOC.

He needs to stop moving to places without lines

      Re: sky phone lines

I am sure I have seen instances posted on the forum where Sky have installed phone lines*, maybe even foc. Maybe he has gone about it in the wrong way, what he should have done is told Sky he wants to take out phone rental and Sky Talk with them. Don't say anything about getting the phone installed until they bring it up. I am sure Sky install lines*, cheaper than BT too.

      * I know the line is actually installed by BTO.

smthy99/ he wasn't planning on moving he was in a rented accommadation and he had to move as no children are allowed and they are due a baby in 8 weeks so they had no choice

lsitme/ thats what he did do and they said do you have a bt line in the property and at that time he wasn't sure so they checked with bt and said he would have to get bt to fit a line before he could have his broadband connected
