A few questions about sky talk

Thinking of going to sky rental + unlimited talk. As I'm on sky max broadband would I have any disruption to my broadband. Also is there any hidden charges to sky talk like extra taxes, payment charges (like with BT) or will I just be charged the 10 a month line rental + 5 a month unlimited talk.

      Cheers guys.

Re: A few questions about sky talk

I transferred to the line rental a few weeks ago, and it all went smoothly (other than lots of letters) no interuption to the broadband, and 2 weeks on it all seems to work fine.

Having had the talk package for 12 months, it appears to include VAT (unlike BT). The only extra charges will be if you make calls that aren't included in the package to mobiles and 0870/0844/0845 numbers or talk for more than an hour. Others will tell you that there are cheaper suppliers, but in my opinion it depends how much you use the phone.

I know that other people have had problems after transfer, but we haven't noticed a difference

Calls to Sky on 0844 numbers are free (aren't they?)!

They are definitely free Calls to non-Sky ones are charged at a higher rate than BT I believe.
