Re: Lost Caller Display help please - Done :0)

Thought I would post the outcome in case it helps others.

I had to move my modem into another room because we were having work done and I took the filter with it, there was a filter already in the other room so just plugged it in. Left the modem in the new room and restored the telephone to its usual place BUT minus the filter

Sky were brilliant, totally wonderful talking me through it and finding the fault.

      Toot, toot for Sky

I lost Caller ID during the week. I phoned Sky today and they said they no longer offer it.

Re: Lost Caller Display help please

Do you have your rental with Sky? Caller display is a part of the rental not the Calls. With Rental caller display and 1471 callback is free. They are extra with BT rental.

Re: Lost Caller Display help please

My line rental is indeed with Sky.

The strange thing is that when people phone instead of showing the number (or the name if they have been programmed into my phone) it now shows "International" on the display!!!

      Anybody know what is happening?

Re: Lost Caller Display help please

If anyone uses SkyPE or similar or a call override such as call1899 then that is the display that will show. I don't know whether that is the default when it can't show anything else.

It's if the people calling you are using it, not you.
