      0870 2404040 and Magic Numbers

      Hi guys.
A couple of quries you may be able to help me with...
      1) Are calls to sky (08702404040) meant to be free when ringing from a landline phone with Sky Talk?
      2) Does anyone know if you can add whats called Magic Numbers on to your account like you can with BT and Talk Talk? In otherwords numbers that are free/cheaper to call than others?

0870 2 40 40 40 (if it's still in use then) will be free from a Sky Talk line (incl. BT rental/Sky Talk CPS lines) from 1st. July 2008 - at the same time as Sky hikes the cost of calls to all non-Sky 0870 and 0845 numbers - see HERE.

If you're on BT line rental and Sky Talk CPS, it's usually only worthwhile using Sky for free/inclusive calls anyway. All others are likely to be cheaper via BT (1280 prefix) or 18185/1899/18866.
