      Line rental and 1571

      FYI........If you take up sky line rental but don't want the 1571 service it can be disabled by sky. We rang today to have it disabled, the lady we spoke to said it will take effect within 48 hours

      hi, ive got a few questions as im going to switch
      1.does the anser thing stay as 1571
      2.and the last caller 1471
      3.did you get a new number
      4.what was it like when switching
      5.how long did it take to switch
      6.is witheld default
      7.how do you add caller display
      8.can you pay at the post office or does it have to be direct debit
      9.do you still get a account number from bt
      10. do you get a bill from bt aswell

      (he i guess its a 10 questions game now

      i would appreciate the answers and im sure others will

      5.how long did it take to switch about a week
      6.is witheld default no
      7.how do you add caller display added automatically and free
      8.can you pay at the post office or does it have to be direct debit DD with your sky bill
      9.do you still get a account number from bt No, you are no longer a BT customer
      10. do you get a bill from bt aswell No

      did sky actually say that the line rental has to be paid by dd as im not , i think
      and how are you liking or not liking the line rental?
      ive decided to switch but the stupid person could not really tell me much as they had worked there 2 days and dissapproves of sky

      You would have to ask about payment methods, ours was just added to our monthly direct debit along with tv and broadband. I can't give an opinion as such yet because we have only just been activated on the 31st January, but so far so good. Come back in a month and ask me lol
