I thought 1280 didn't work with Sky Talk as it effectively redirects to itself on a BT line? 18185 and others should still work though.

Sky Talk 24/7 International ? great value phone service from Sky
That sounded really good. But when I spoke to Sky customer service they told me that the offer has expired in Nov and they are no longer offereing the package.

That is unbelievable. They are still advertising it on the Web site, so they are guilty of false advertising. If I were you I would call again and point out that it is still being advertised and there is no mention on the advert about it being a limited time offer.

I contacted them again and pointed out about the offer. So far no joy.
I have emailed the Sky customer service and waiting to hear from them. To tell you the truth these call centre guys are not alawys very helpful.

I am sure that Sky is breaking the law here and falsely advertising a product/service that has expired long time ago. I may have to contact the trading standard about this issue.

We have sky TV and the unlimited BB package.
I am considering taking the phone package but the call charges to India is huge.
Currently we are with BT and use 0844 200 1010 which costs .5p per minute plus connection charge.
Does any one know what the charges will be if we switch to Sky and use the same number on Sky phone line?
At the time of posting, Sky charges the same per minute rates as BT for 0843/0844 calls.

Sky's connection charge (currently 9.9p) is currently cheaper than BT's (10.9p) though.

0844 200 xxxx calls are g22 rate and they cost p/minute to call

Not if you have LLU Sky line rental!

If Sky are still advertising an offer on the website but refuse to let you have it complain to the Advertising Standards Authority.

      They cover web advertising.

You, can still use "18185" on "Sky Talk" but, at 1p per minute for the call.

      The access number is:- 0808-1-703-703-
