Just been reading in another forum that by paying your Line Rental to Sky you are in effect removing yourself totally from BT's network and becoming 100% LLU.

      Is this the case?

      Re: Sky Talk Line Rental

We switched to Sky line rental less than a month ago.

Yesterday, the line developed a fault. Incoming calls wouldn't ring, though outgoing calls and broadband worked. Coincidence, or not? It never happened with BT.

We called Sky yesterday evening, and, to give them their due, and engineer came this morning and fixed it. So at least the service was speedy.
