      SKY Talk ---- Me ---- BT HELP PLEASE

      i have ordered sky talk, and the broadband, also have the tv package, sky have got back to me 3 times sayin "BT has informed us that due to technical problems we can't take your calls. Unfortunately, this means you'll not be able to switch to Sky Talk at the moment" etc, etc.

      I ask them y they say they dont knw and give the possible reasons, i have no barring, it is on together option one, but bt keep rejecting it, after waiting like 45 mins and gettin through to BT they say their is no prblem on their end then i ask why they rject sky and they say its not on their screens, they are the billing department!, the whole customer service thing of BT is a shM! ppl dont knw what they talkin bout, i am gettin annoyed as Sky dont wana do anything about it, me the customer is being used as the middleman and messenger to do all the running around, my bt line went active on 31st august, since then sky have tried 3 times to get it switched to sky talk, each time bt reject and dont give a reason, please can some1 help this is getting very annoying! very annoying! please

      did you sign in for a minimum contract for calls with BT?

      If you agree to take BTs calls for 12 months (to get other types of discounts) then you are tied in for 12 months unless you pay to terminate.

      Recent BT incentives have been get BT talk option 2 at Option 1 prices for x months and then be tied in for 18 mths.

      Only Bt will tell you this.

      That doesn't stop you changing to a CPS carrier for your calls though.

      It would just mean you'd have to carry on paying BT for the calls package for the remainder of the contracted period.

      There must be some sort of spurious 'marker' on your line - which only BT can remove.

      Use BT's complaints procedure - your complaint is that, as is your right, you want to sign up for a CPS (Carrier PreSelect) calls provider but BT is preventing you from doing so.
