With Plusnet how do I move to Skytalk?

I have Sky broadband and so on, broadband moved from Plusnet via a MAC code.

Sky Talk could not transfer due to BT error as discussed on this forum.

So if I move from Plusnet back to BT I will be locked in for 12 months before I can move to Sky Talk which I do not want to do.

      Any suggestions here? Previous experience?

      Regards,

      James

      I don't understand your problem.

If you want to move to Sky Talk, a CPS service, you have to have a BT landline (i.e. pay line rental to BT). You cannot have a CPS provider for your calls with any other line rental provider.

By definition, that means you must move from paying your line rental to Plusnet to paying your line rental to BT first. And, of course, you'll have to keep paying your line rental to BT throughout the time you use Sky Talk (or any other CPS provider).

You can join Sky Talk CPS as soon as you are back paying your line rental to BT (there is no 12 month tie-in to BT for calls provided you make sure you go onto BT Together Option 1 which, at 10.50/month when paid by DD and after paper-free billing discount, is BT's lowest-priced residential package).

i saw your post over there aswell as here.

move back to BT ( their minimum term is 3 months and has been for years) and there is no contract with sky talk as heinz has stated
Although i would have thought that when you transfered BB back to sky then the PN line rental would cease too - but obviously not
