      Hi, does anyone know if 0800 numbers are still free when you switch to sky talk?

      All call rates are shown in pence per minute. A 3p connection fee applies.
      All other non- geographic calls charged at standard BT rates.


      Acording to that it would seem they are still free.

      They should be but, as Primus (another CPS provider) made an error and charged some of their customers for calling 0800 numbers last year, I'd recommend all CPS customers use a 1280 prefix to 'hop back onto BT' when dialling any 080 or 05 numbers (see HERE).

      As Sky Talk appear to charge BT's undiscounted rates for 0845 and 0870 numbers (thanks yodasarmpit), you would be wise to add them to the 'prefix with 1280' list above as well if you don't have a 18185 account and/or don't want to be bothered with routing some such calls via them (see HERE).
